The Wilder Kaiser region is the first Alpine area to have been distinguished with the Austrian seal of quality for hiking. The resorts in the Wilder Kaiser Nature Reserve – Ellmau, Going, Scheffau and Söll – form part of the ‘Kitzbühel Alps – Kaiser Mountains’ e-biking region, the largest of its kind worldwide. Thanks to modern e-bikes, cycling longer distances is no longer a problem and it’s easy to get to the area’s most scenic viewpoints. The 27-hole Wilder Kaiser Golf Course enjoys a spectacular setting in Ellmau right at the foot of the majestic massif. Fifteen different half-day and full-day guided hikes (free for holders of the Wilder Kaiser Guest Card) are on offer every week during the summer season, along with a varied and fun-filled programme of activities for families.
